Are your YouTube videos not getting the traffic they deserve? Did you know there are some straightforward and effective ways to get more eyes on your content? This article looks at different methods, tools, and services to get more eyeballs on your content.

Why YouTube and not your website?

Google is the biggest search engine on earth. Therefore, the amount of competition is staggering when getting your brand to rank for key search queries.

Adwords are expensive, and website SEO is costly plus very time intensive. Your SEO results can take months to come to fruition, and when all is said and done, you are still at the mercy of the ever-changing Google Search Algorithm, which could dump your hard work down several pages at any time!

YouTube is the second-largest search engine in the world, and it is a widely used channel to promote, entertain, and educate audiences. With more than one billion monthly users, this is a viable platform to grow your audience and drive leads.

Google has also started integrating YouTube video results into their primary search engine, giving you prime real estate if you can rank for specific phrases.

For example, our videos rank number one in the results for several variations of interstitial journaling searches on Google.

Should a viewer get value and respond to the call to action from within our video, warmer traffic will be driven to our website than cold paid website traffic.

Check out these tips to get started promoting YouTube videos!

Hire an expert

We often think that doing something ourselves will save us money. However, as an agency owner, imagine how long your client might take trying to build a website or design a brand themselves.

They would probably take months and produce something that is substandard. You, as the agency owner, have years of experience and can apply those talents quickly and effectively.

The same goes for online marketing and ad campaigns. There are countless experts out there who’ve worked with many clients worldwide, driving targeted traffic to content. They have processes and procedures and find out what does and does not work the hard way.

Hiring an expert doesn’t look as expensive anymore, considering all this!

Wrapping Up

Attracting viewers to your YouTube videos won’t happen overnight. Don’t forget; the YouTube platform has its checks and balances to ensure that only the highest quality video content reaches its users at all times!

But if you want to make sure as many people see your videos as possible, don’t forget to share them with your existing audience outside of YouTube, too. Whether you have an email list or followers on social media, give them a shout-out and let them know your latest video is live!

And lastly, if you want to drive traffic to your videos, ask them to like and share them! It may be overused, but there’s no harm in adding it to the outro of your video.

Have you come across any strategies that help increase views on YouTube? If so, please let me know in the comments below! I’m always interested in hearing new ideas.
