Documentation tools
Depending upon the level of detail we plan to go into with the client, we will use Airtable and additionally Google Docs for when we wish to present more detailed information.
Option one
Airtable has a free tier. We utilize the Pro version so we can access Gantt Charts and create reports that output the results of our discovery. Should you choose to use the free tier you can still share direct read-only access to the discovery information to your clients as per the workshop. We have however provided you a complete excel alternative below.

Option two
You can replicate the basic structure of the Airtable template in a spreadsheet. We are putting the finishing touches to a template for you which will work in Google Sheets and in Microsoft Excel.

Spreadsheets are inherently different to how Airtable works, but we’ve covered all the data sets and included a reports tab and Gantt option. This will equip you with everything you need for a successful discovery should you not wish to use Airtable.
Document template
The document template allows you to provide your supporting notes in a clean format whilst linking to the relevant data within your Airtable/Spreadsheet repository.
